Hi all!
I am so excited to announce that in September 2020, I will be going on World Race:Gap year! Instead of going straight to college after I graduate high school, I will be going to three different regions of the world for nine months to spread the AMAZING NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST. I couldn’t be more excited to go where God is calling me!
That being said you are probably wondering why I want to do the World Race. Well, that’s a great question! My entire life I have loved serving people and letting them know just how much they are loved. I never saw myself going too far from home or even going off to college. So this is a crazy jump but one I am so willing to take.
This past December, I went on a mission trip to India with some very dear friends. My first time outside my comfort zone. i jumped into the deep end of what God had for me. One of the days we were there we went on a boat ride on the backwaters, it was SO PEACEFUL. At one point, I was sitting by myself on the edge of the boat. I just felt something click, a kind of quiet voice telling me that this is what was next for me. I was supposed to continue on this journey of missions and loving on people.
After that trip, I pushed that moment aside for awhile, until I started seeing ads for the World Race. I knew as soon as I read more into what it was that this is what God has for me next. I have to push aside my fears and worries and trust that this is where God has called me and that he is holding my hand through all of it.
I am so excited to share this new adventure with all of you! But to be able to do this, I need your support! I know that because I am going where God has called he will provide.
