As most of you know, about a week ago, i moved to Gainesville,Georgia along with my squad to be trained for 4 months on discipleship, missions and living together as a community. This past week has been such a week of growth for me, so i am really excited for what continuing to walk through this season will be like. I thought I would give you a glimpse of what a day in my life looks like!

Every weekday morning we all wake up and go to the pavilion by 7:45 for breakfast. We are using portapotty’s right now so getting ready usually happens sitting in my tent using my phones camera. After our breakfast, with our cohort, we have devotional time where they give us an intentional hour to sit with the Lord. ( our squad is split up into two weeks for the first two weeks due to Covid, they are called cohorts). We then head up to our squad meeting point, where we spend a good part of the day, learning from leaders, hearing announcements and worshipping. We have lunch and then begin our rotations for the day. Our rotations look different every day, sometimes it can look like cleaning, exercising, hand washing laundry, bucket showers or even squad time. We have dinner and then head to team time where each team spends an hour together doing different things. (I LOVE YOU TEAM ALIGN!). We normally will just hang out with everyone until we have to be in our tents by ten and do it all over again the next day. Our weekends are full of a lot of rest and sabbath, so that we can refill for the week ahead.

SOME THINGS THE LORD IS TEACHING ME

- He is so worth living in uncertainty

- He has loved me longer than I have been alive

- in him, I have a home

- There are people in the world that want to love you and fight for you

- nothing you can do can change the way God sees you

I am so grateful for this season the Lord has placed me in and I am excited to see  how much the Lord grows all of us in the next few months.

Love you all,

Delaney
