Our time in the Dominican Republic has been the most difficult time on the race for me but it has also been my favorite season. I have loved being here and everything that it has brought with it.

I have gotten to discover little things that I am passionate about.

It’s been a season of walking through fire and celebration.

I got to create my own ministry and use my creativity.

I have met so many beautiful people that the Lord placed right in front of me.

I have learned to find joy in the little things.

I was blown away by my squads intentionality.

Made new friends and deepened my relationship with old ones.

I have lived next to cows, chickens and even a pregnant goat.

I have visited most doctors offices in a five mile vicinity.

I have learned what it looks like to be taught by the Father.

I have played so many card games!

Stayed up late so many nights laughing until I cried or crying until I laughed.

I reclaimed the joy I thought i lost.

I learned how to fight for myself.

The few times I got to go to ministry and meet the people of the DR. ( they are pretty cool people)

Going to the grocery store has been my favorite adventure!

I got to surprise my squad with going back to ministry.

I was blessed with extra time to choose in to the MOH base staff.

The Dominican Republic will always have a part of my heart and it was such a blessing to spend two months here calling this place home. I will forever treasure all the memories we have made here. So goodbye for now DR. Thanks for changing me.
